The Grump in Argentina

By Lee at 02/12/08 22:37

A friend was visiting us in Montevideo and we decided to pop over to Buenos Aries for a couple days to enjoy Argentina.

Instead we found out that there is apparently no one responsible in the country!

We had a reservation at a hotel and upon arrival were given the key to a room that was occupied! The full story will be featured in an upcoming post.

We found another hotel and were pretty happy (though not completely) until just after 1am Tuesday night (right now). We were awoken to loud sawing noises (the video is uploading to youtube now).

After a few saws it quieted down. Then it started up again and I grabbed my camera.

YouTube Video

A second video with some colorful language should be uploaded shortly, but has the same story as the first hotel. No one is responsible. Though we are told who requested the work be done at 1am... and he isn't available until 10am!

Oh, and before I forget the noisy hotel is the Ayacucho Palace Hotel

The "palace" claims on their website... "Lejos del ruido" or in English.... "Away from the noise"!
