Holidays and Investments in Mar del Plata Argentina Interview

By Interviewer at 08/29/07 01:11

Name of your website?

Holidays and Investments in Mar del Plata Argentina

Your name?

Michelle

Your Location (city, etc)

Mar del Plata

Please give us a short summary of your website?

To promote tourism in an unknown city and to show investment opportunities.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

After moving to Mar del Plata a year ago, I realised that this wonderful city had so much going for it and very few foreign tourists. Therefore, I decided to promote tourism with the added opportunity of a real estate investment.

What makes it different from other, similar offerings?

There are very few English language websites regarding Mar del Plata and my website gives more information than any other website. It would enable anybody that wanted to move here to find out about all possibilities, such as schools, visas, tax etc.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

To keep it

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

So far it is early days.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

I am still learning about creating a website, so would not know.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

Yes, as my family are involved.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

None so far.

What has been your biggest challenge?

Learning about creating a website with no prior knowledge.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Sending it to friends and promoting it on travel forums.

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

Just as expected.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

June 2007 - indefinite

How can I promote my website more?

Still learning

What is your website address?
